The West Virginia geospatial community is pleased to announce the 2010 WV GIS Conference, to be held June 7-10. The conference is designed for promoting and sharing geographic information and mapping technologies in the Mountain State. Hosted by Marshall University's Geography Department, State GIS Coordinator, and the WV Association of Geospatial Professionals, the conference's theme Partnering Together, a Strategy for GIS in the Mountain State refers to the implementation of new GIS strategic and business plans.

The conference agenda includes reports of geospatial activities and notable speakers (Tuesday, June 8), paper / poster presentations and awards (Wednesday, June 9), and seminars and workshops on Monday (June 7) and Thursday (June 10).
